All-Skills & Position Camp

Get Ready for School Tryouts/Season
|
How are these camps different?
The All-Skills & Position Camp - longer camp with a focus on each player becoming better at all skills, as well as their position. Think of this as a total player up-level. Discussions focused on how to become your best, how to train well, how to self-regulate and consistently improve and perform.
The Get Ready for School Tryouts/Season - position focused training that will be framed within the team and tryout context. This means connecting skills, understanding how to better the ball, play in a system, and be more position response-able on the court with other players. Discussions focused on tryout/program expectations, how to create success on and off the court so performance is possible, how to manage the demands of school and volleyball and handle pressure. Individual strengths & points of contribution - our goal is for each player to see and know their strengths and how they can most effectively (and currently) contribute to their team. What is the ingredient/s that they have that can make the team better! Helping players ID this is very empowering and can bring them into focus for 2026!
How are these camps similar?
1. Individual Skill Improvement - we will provide specific feedback to each player on the 3 most important skills for their position and do drills to train those elements and changes. Individual skills are so important this time of year - get a kick start with quality instruction and training.
2. Individual Position Training - we will provide repeated opportunties to improve at the many responsibilities required of each position. Sometimes players don't even know what these are! So we will educate and train these so that players feel more capable and clear.
3. Individual Mindset - we will provide players with important keys for them to generate a successful season. This will be individualized - as some players may need to bring more focus, others intensity, others better communication, or mechanics/technique and so on. We will gear our feedback so that each player walks away with a key to their own success.
